Toward Freedom is a monthly newsletter published under the guidance of William B. Lloyd, Jr. since 1953. Initially, Toward Freedom focused on the decolonization movement, especially in Africa. In recent years Lloyd has widened the scope of this publication to include other national movements which aim to expand freedom for people throughout the world.
