The J. Kenneth Leslie Papers fill thirteen boxes and span the period 1926-1985. They are arranged in six categories: education files, correspondence files, teaching files, administration files, research files, and publications. The records of Raymond W. Mack (Vice President and Dean of Faculties, and Provost, of Northwestern University) contain correspondence, proposals and reports, charts and statistics, and meetings of minutes. These materials span the years 1958 to 1986, chiefly covering Mack's term as Provost. Some materials with earlier dates are also included in this series; some of these are from the office of Payson Wild, who served as Provost before Mack, and others are Mack's own papers.

James H. McBurney (1905-1986) Papers
McBurney joined the Northwestern University faculty as an associate professor in 1936, and was appointed full professor of the School of Speech in 1941. He became Dean of the School of Speech in 1942 and held the position for thirty years until his retirement in 1972. The series fills seventeen folders (three boxes). Materials include correspondence, teaching files, speeches and publications.
William Montgomery McGovern (1897-1964) Papers
McGovern joined the political science faculty of Northwestern University in 1929, staying with the University until his retirement in 1964. The William Montgomery McGovern Papers fill five boxes and span the period 1919-1967. They are arranged in five major categories: biographical materials; professional correspondence; manuscripts and notes; class materials; and personal records.
James C. McLeod (1902-1981) Papers
James McLeod served as Northwestern University chaplain (1946-52) , professor of history and literature of religions (1946-71), and Dean of Students (1952-67). The Papers include biographical materials, general correspondence, and sermons and addresses.

Gui Mombaerts (1902-1993) Papers
Gui (Guillaume) Mombaerts toured Europe as a pianist after winning the 1926 Prix Gunther and ranking as finalist in the 1927 International Chopin Piano Competition. He joined the faculty of Northwestern University's School of Music in 1948, and served as Ralph Votapek piano instructor. The Gui Mombaerts Papers, spanning the years 1922-1980, are contained in two boxes. They include biographical material, vitae, press releases, clippings, and interviews.

Dale Mortensen (1939-2014) and Beverly Mortensen (1939- ) Papers
Dale Mortensen (1939-2014) was an American economist and Nobel laureate, 2010. In 1965 he joined the faculty of Northwestern University and in 1980 became professor of Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences at the Kellogg School of Management. Beverly Mortensen (1939- ) is a scholar of music and ancient Jewish religion. The Dale Mortensen and Beverly Papers fills 171 boxes, includes approximately 8.96 megabytes of born-digital files, and spans the years 1939-2014.
Leon (1924-2013) and Rae (1935-2013) Moses Collection
Leon Moses (1924-2013), was a professor in the Department of Economics at Northwestern University and served as faculty member in the Transportation Center. Rae Moses (1935-2013) was a faculty member in the Linguistics Department at Northwestern University, and held the positions of Director of the Women's Studies Program and Assistant Dean of Arts and Sciences. The Leon and Rae Moses Collection comprises 5 boxes and features teaching and research materials, correspondence, and writings.
Charles C. Moskos Papers
Charles C. Moskos taught sociology at Northwestern University from 1966-2007. His interests were military sociology, national service, and Greek American studies. His Papers include correspondence, research files, teaching files, reports, and publications, with the majority dated after 1969.
