Scope and Contents

The series consists of annual and, sometimes, biennial reports of the University Librarians and Acting University Librarians. Some of the reports are holographic transcriptions and, in several instances, photocopies from minutes of the University's Board of Trustees and other official documents. Others, in printed form, are taken mainly from annual reports of the University President. Typescript reports date largely from the 1930s. Some typescripts are duplicated in the series by printed reports. However, several of the typescript reports include greater detail than their corresponding printed copies.
