Scope and Contents
The records of the Women's Center fill three boxes, spanning the years 1986 to 1991, and consist of general administration files, correspondence, program files, applications for grants, and flyers.
The administrative materials and correspondence span 1986 to 1990. The correspondence is general and specific. Grant proposals range from 1986 to 1989. The program files include the Campus Climate Project (CCP) and the Sexual Assault Education Program (SAEP). The CCP files, from 1986 to 1990, include administrative and organizational material, correspondence, scripts, grant proposals, workshop outlines, and audience transcripts for the CCP. The SAEP files range from 1986 to 1990. Four files of flyers, spanning 1986 to 1991, document activities and programs that were sponsored by the Women's Center.

Method of Acquisition
These records were transferred to the University Archives by Becket Bessolo of the Women's Center on October 15, 1998 as Accession No. 98-192.
Separated Materials
One inch of duplicate material was discarded. One-third of a cubic foot of records relating to the Program on Women was separated and added to the Records of the Program on Women, Series 8/2/10.
