Scope and Contents
The records of Northwestern University's School of Law Alumni Association are arranged in two subseries: records of the Law Alumni Association and records of the Law Alumni Fund.
The Law Alumni Association records dates between 1953 and 1971 and include bylaws, meeting minutes, correspondence and topical files. The bulk of the records consists of subject files, mainly relating to alumni luncheons and dinners and class reunions.
The Law Alumni Fund records are divided into correspondence and topical files. The correspondence, spanning the years 1961 to 1971, generally concern fund raising efforts targeted at alumni. The bulk of the records consists of the topical files, mainly relating to mailings to various alumni classes and reports on non-alumni gifts.

Method of Acquisition
The Northwestern University School of Law transferred these records to the University Archives on May 5, 1998 as Accession #98-111.
Separated Materials
Three linear feet of duplicate materials were discarded as was one linear foot of daily alumni gift reports.
