The Office of the Registrar student transcript records are contained in one archival box and one microfiche file case. They are composed of microfiche copies of transcripts of Northwestern University undergraduate and graduate students whose last active enrollment in the University occurred between 1972 and 1986.

Abstract

The Office of the Registrar student transcript records are contained in one archival box and one microfiche file case. They are composed of microfiche copies of transcripts of Northwestern University undergraduate and graduate students whose last active enrollment in the University occured between 1972 and 1986.

Arrangement Note

The microfiche is grouped into intervals of multiple academic years (i.e. August 1972-June 1975, Aug. 1975-June 1978, etc.). These groups are arranged chronologically. Within each group the files are arranged alphabetically by the student's sir name. Finally, the microfiche cards are numbered from 1 to 1544, in the order in which they were produced.

The files are divided as follows:

Aug. 1972 - June 1975: 1 - 395 Aug. 1975 - June 1977: 396 - 609 Aug. 1977 - June 1981: 610 - 830 Aug. 1981 - June 1983: 831 - 1031 Aug. 1983 - Aug. 1985: 1032 - 1209 Sep. 1985 - Aug. 1986: 1210 - 1544

Method of Acquisition

These files were transferred to the University Archives by Philomena Wilson of the Registrar's Office on December 11, 1991 (Accession #91-218).
