Abstract
Grigg Fountain joined the faculty of Northwestern University's School of Music as professor of Organ and church music in 1961. The Grigg Fountain papers fill one half-size archival box and date from 1961-1986. The bulk of the Papers consist of correspondence, both personal and professional covering the years 1961-73. Also included are one folder each of biographical materials and Northwestern press releases regarding Fountain's music career.
Arrangement
The Grigg Fountain papers are organized into: biographical materials; publicity; and correspondence (organ-choir, personal, and choir; each group arranged by date).
Method of Acquisition
The University Archives received the Grigg Fountain Papers on June 4, 1987. They were separated from the Ralph G. Dunlop Papers (30/8) on December 27, 1988 and accessioned as # 88-295.
