Hans Christian Andersen Awards 1992-2004
Since 1956 the International Board on Books for Young People has presented the Hans Christian Andersen Award to a living author or illustrator (added in 1966) who has made a lasting contribution to children's literature. The McCormick Library’s collection of materials for the Hans Christian Andersen Awards consists of the biennial informational dossiers submitted by candidates for 1992 - 2004, clippings, reviews, and dust jackets by some of the authors or illustrators. All of the awards books have been cataloged for the Northwestern University Library and will be found in the online catalog.
