Abstract: Consists of newsclippings, photographs, and newsletters pertaining to African affairs during the 1950s and 1960s. The collection was assembled by Claude Barnett, director of the Associated Negro Press, a wire organization serving black American newspapers, and the World News Service, which provided similar service to African newspapers from 1960 until 1963.
