This series concerns contractual work on infrared communication performed from 1945-1950 at Northwestern University's Department of Physics on behalf of the Navy Department, Bureau of Ships, Contract NObs 28373. Walter S. Huxford, Professor of Physics, served as Director. The series consists of Monthly Progress Reports, Memorandum Reports, and Summary Reports.
