Biography
The University College, founded in 1933, became successively the Evening Divisions, 1953-1978; the Division of Continuing Education, 1978-1983; then once again the University College of Continuing Professional Education in 1983. The mission of the School of Continuing Studies (SCS) is to be the lifelong partner of adult learners who seek a superior educational experience at Northwestern University.

This series contains the College of Arts and Sciences and School of Commerce graduation lists from the Evening Division, later the Division of Continuing Education, at Northwestern University. These lists include candidates and recipients of certificates, diplomas, and undergraduate and graduate degrees between 1911 and 1977. Often included on these lists are local and home addresses, major fields of study, and grade point averages of individuals.
