Abstract
Lois Elliot joined the Northwestern University School of Speech as Professor of Communicative Disorders in 1976. She directed the Neurobiology Training Program between 1976 and 1984 and headed the Program in Audiology and Hearing Sciences from 1976 to 1995. Elliott also helped design and coordinate the curriculum for the Human Communication Sciences, a premedical, undergraduate program.
