Biography

Established in 1969 by Northwestern University's Graduate School of Management and eleven Chicago-based banks, the Banking Research Center has functioned since then to: promote research on banking and related issues, foster interest in banking on the part of University students, and establish and maintain a dialogue between scholars and the banking community.

Abstract
