The Berkeley Folk Music Festival ran from 1958-1970 on the campus of the University of California, Berkeley. Barry Olivier organized and directed the festival, which drew performers involved with the folk revival movement as well as other varied musical genres.

Abstract
The archive of the Berkeley Folk Music Festival Archive (held 1958-1970 on the campus of the University of California, Berkeley) consists of some 30,000 items, including photographs of folk artists and groups, general photographs of Festivals, tapes, press clippings, correspondence, publicity information on various performers, posters and flyers. Included are some photographs and posters from other area music festivals.
