Biography

The Northwestern University Sailing Club is a student-led club sport. It was founded in the 1950s and is one of the first members of the Midwest Collegiate Sailing Association (MCSA). They compete locally within that organization, as well as nationally in regattas various times throughout the year. Their facility, the NU Sailing Center, is on campus and on the shores of Lake Michigan where they practice and they have recently competed in Nationals in 2016, as well as won the MCSA Conference Championships in the same year.
