These photographic transparencies show Col. Robert R. McCormick, Maryland McCormick (his second wife), his associates and properties. The images include reunions of the First Division at Cantigny Farm, and the 80th birthday celebration for Weymouth Kirkland (McCormick's former law partner). Most of the images are black and white negatives, but the collection also includes a few color positive transparencies.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection of Colonel Robert R. McCormick's personal correspondence covers the years 1920-1955, with a small part of the material dating from as early as 1914 and before. (For example, a file is included on the Colonel's trip to Russia in 1915, and also a few letters written to relatives during his school years.) The collection includes much material on the Colonel's real estate, particularly Cantigny and Boynton Beach, as well as his club memberships, his military career, his speeches...
