Abstract

The Mattie May Gray Papers date between 1907 and 1919 and fill two boxes. Most of the papers consist of course work from Northwestern University and New Lisbon High School. One folder contains handwritten copies of poems and plays.

School of Speech Student Record Cards

Abstract

This series consists of academic records of students enrolled in the School of Speech (School of Oratory) from 1892 to 1922. The records, in the form of registration cards, contain the following information: date of registration, student's name, age, hometown and Evanston address. The older cards (1892-1913) include a "record of studies pursued elsewhere, with Grade Marks." They also record the work done by the students by year (Junior or Senior), term and instructor.
