Biography

Ethel Robinson was born February 12, 1890[?]. She attended the Northwestern University School of Oratory and was a member of its class of 1912. While a student, Robinson was an active member of Zeta Phi Eta, the professional fraternity of communication arts and sciences. After completing her education at Northwestern, Robinson married Paul N. Grubb (Northwestern University Liberal Arts, 1910; Law School, 1913). The couple had two children. Ethel Robinson Grubb died in April, 1975[?].

Abstract

The series includes a scrapbook and a daily calendar. The scrapbook dates from the period 1909-1914 and features a variety of materials pertaining mainly to Robinson's social life and academic studies while a student at Northwestern. The daily calendar dates from 1910 and includes, for the most part, abbreviated accounts of Robinson's social engagements.
