Biography
Ralf-Finn Hestoft attended Northwestern University as an undergraduate from 1979-1981 and from 1984-1986, graduating in 1986. During the time he spent at Northwestern, Hestoft worked as a staff photographer for both the Daily Northwestern and the Syllabus (Vol. 97). Among his assignments Hestoft photographed University students, Faculty, and staff; campus events; and scenes on campus as well as off.

This series consists of ninety-eight contact sheets printed from thousands of Ralf-Finn Hestoft's 35mm black-and-white negatives of photographs taken during 1979 and 1980 for the Daily Northwestern and the Northwestern University Syllabus yearbook. The photographs show students (informal photographs and portraits); faculty, staff, and administrators; campus scenes and events, athletics and speakers; and off-campus scenes.
