Biography

Audrey Lorraine Cregier was born March 16, 1915, at St. Louis, Missouri. Cregier attended the Burroughs School in St. Louis, and later matriculated to Washington University (St. Louis), to Stephens College (Columbia, Missouri), and to the Kroeger School of Music (St. Louis). She attended Northwestern University as a special student in its School of Music during the 1936-1937 academic year. Her career aspirations were to teach voice and piano. Cregier settled in Evanston, Illinois, and died there on September 30, 1994.
