Biography

Judith King Mintel is a lawyer and music producer living in Chicago. A 1973 University of Chicago Law School graduate, Judith Mintel served as Associate General Counsel with State Farm Insurance Companies for over 25 years. In 1983 she published a book entitled Insurance Rate Litigation.

In 1971, Judith King married Richard Mintel. Their daughter Josephine was born in 1991 in Bloomington, Illinois.

As a recording and producing team, the Mintels recorded performances from many classical music ensembles, primarily in Illinois. The Mintels made recordings of numerous performances of Chicago's Music of the Baroque, The New Oratorio Singers, the Grand Teton Music Festival, and more. Many of these performances were broadcast on classical radio stations, and some released commercially, which the Mintels often helped to produce.
