Biography
Jessica Ray Herzogenrath earned her BA in History at Northwestern University in 2002, after which time she moved to Texas to perform, choreograph, and teach dance before pursuing an MA in American Dance Studies from Florida State University in 2009. She began doctoral work in history at Texas A&M University, and as of 2019 works as a Coordinator of Research and Proposal Development in the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs at Sam Houston State University in Texas, where she has also taught in the history and dance departments.
