Biography

Jeff Coney became an official scorer for Northwestern University men’s basketball in 1971. As a Northwestern undergraduate, he served as student manager for men’s basketball from 1970 to 1974.

His professional career included positions at Northwestern University, as Director of Economic Development, 2007 to 2018, and as Director of New Business Initiatives, 2000 to 2007. Prior to joining the Northwestern staff, Coney spent 14 years as a software entrepreneur. He co- founded Facility Management Systems, Inc., a software company, which was sold to a publicly traded company. He also had prior employment with Arthur Andersen, Metropolitan Structures and The City of Chicago. Coney holds Bachelor of Arts (1974) and Master of Business Administration (1976) degrees from Northwestern and became a certified public accountant.

Abstract

The collection consists of an official National Collegiate Athletic Association basketball score book documenting Northwestern University men’s basketball games dating between December 2, 1972 and December 8, 1973.
