Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
The Richard Czerwonky Music Manuscripts and Papers contain manuscript and published scores of violinist, composer and conductor Richard Czerwonky (1886-1949) as well as a small subset of personal papers, writing and ephemera. The majority of his compositions and arrangements are for violin solo accompanied by piano but also include many works for string quartet, other chamber ensembles, orchestral works and songs. Most of his published works are now rare and out-of-print. This collection is believed to be the most complete collection of Czerwonky's published and unpublished work in existance.
