Scope and Contents
The Humphrey Winterton Collection of East African photographs is comprised of about 6,500 photographs organized in 75 primary collections of separate albums, scrapbooks or loose collections. Primary collections range from a single photograph to a set of several photograph albums plus envelopes of loose photographs.

1 album (1 album, 23 p., 31 x 26 cm.) : Oblong quarto (31 x 25.5 cm.), containing 23 silver prints, mostly 16 x 21 cm.; beige buckram covers; some damage to the spine, covers generally soiled.
Abstract
An album of safari photographs, many duplicates of the prints in group 8, albums 3-5. Although the inventory describes this as an "album of original photographs of a hunting safari. Unidentified photographer, circa 1940s.", it is more likely from the same period as the group 8 albums, 1900-1920.
