The Humphrey Winterton Collection of East African photographs is comprised of about 6,500 photographs organized in 75 primary collections of separate albums, scrapbooks or loose collections. Primary collections range from a single photograph to a set of several photograph albums plus envelopes of loose photographs.

From the Record Group: 1 album (1 album, 26 p., 24 x 31 cm.) : Oblong quarto (31 x 24 cm.), containing numerous silver prints (mainly snapshots) of various dimensions, mounted on 15 card leaves (the remaining 15 leaves are blank). The majority of images are captioned; a few images a little faded; contemporary black half morocco, cloth sides; covers worn and rubbed.
