Historic Notes

Pages 1 & 2 depict various construction workers posing outside their living quarters. Page 3 has an image of the railway station at Mkatta. Page 5 records a train crash. Pages 25 & 27 provide superb images of a steam roller outside the premises of E. Souza Jun., Dias & Co., Dar es Salaam. The series concludes with a curious picture of a German man, with a young African woman apparently sitting on his lap, his arm round her shoulders. The final few pages contain captioned images of life in Togo.
