Photographs and postcards depicting Zanzibar, Ripon Falls in Uganda, Mombasa, Dar es Salaam, and Aden, plus a few from Egypt and Rome. Most photographs are captioned in ink, but the original captions differ somewhat from those recorded in the inventory, as noted. In addition, some captions have been amended or corrected in pencil. These additions and corrections have been noted as well.

From the Record Group: 1 album (1 album, 36 p., 27 x 38 cm.) : Oblong quarto (27 x 38 cm.), containing 39 silver and albumen prints, plus three postcards, most images captioned; the card album leaves are a little browned and brittle; original black watered silk boards, neatly rebacked in black morocco, gilt lettering to spine, endpapers replaced.
