Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

These records of Ellen Corley, Dean of the College of Continuing Education, primarily relate to three areas of activity of the College. First are Dean Corley's correspondence and materials created in the general operation of the dean's office during her tenure as Dean from 1976 to 1985. Second, financial and/or class registration records include comprehensive data from the operations of the College since 1963. The third category comprises subject files from various courses, workshops, and other programs offered under the aegis of the College during Dean Corley's administration. These constitute the bulk of the records. Organizations in tthis third group include the Business/Professional Advertising Association, the Dental School, library management, Midwest Women and Business, and the National Society of Fundraising Executives.

The files contain a mixture of correspondence and memos, reports, class registration lists, program schedules, publicity, and financial information, working papers and other notes. Files have been relabeled to enhance access.
