Photographs, 1902-1907
Scope and Contents
The collection consists of thirty-five photographs of friends and classmates of Sibyl Horning and Carl Long. Most are studio portraits, carte-de-visite or cabinet size, glued to cards; a few are loose. Almost all are identified by name, and most by date (between 1899 and 1908). A few have inscriptions beyond names—often the notation “Pi Phi.” The photographs are arranged by size and divided into two folders.
Legible names include: Catharine Donaldson, R.W. Root, Amy Onken, Roger Jenkins, George Beggs, Mabel Thompson, Lillian Teasle, C.S.L. [Carl Long?], Rev Maria Varney, Florence Kidder, Ella Mertz, Edna Jenkins, Emma Hoag, Mildred Auten Spencer, Helen Goodrich, Beulah Herr, William J. McCormick, John Philip Joseph.
