This series, filling one and one-half boxes and spanning the academic years 1968/1969 through 1976/1977, comprises the departmental notices of the English department. Issued for general departmental circulation, the notices cover a broad range of topics although most pertain to professorial staff meetings, sponsored lectures, and faculty appointments. Most of these notices were issued by the chairman of the English department.

Addition, Box 3 The addition, filling one box, is composed of the departmental notices of the English Department from 1977-1980. The files are arranged chronologically.

Addition, Box 4 This addition to the Department Notices of the English Department was accumulated by a faculty member. Not all years between 1980/81 and 1992/1993 are represented, and the folders may not contain a complete set of Department Notices for the year indicated.
