Conditions Governing Access

There are no restrictions on use of the majority of these materials in the department for research; all patrons must comply with federal copyright regulations. Boxes 93-95 are restricted until 2070, because of the pervasive presence of private financial information. This collection is stored off-site and requires two business days advance notice for retrieval. Biographical / Historical

Digital Entertainment Networks (founded 1996) was reorganized into JAMtv in May/June 1997. RollingStoneRadio.com was launched by JAMtv in March, 1998, TheSource.com in November, 1998 and DownBeatJazz in February, 1999. JAMtv became Tunes.com in March, 1999. Howard Tullman was successively chairman and CEO of this series of companies. JAMtv and Tunes.com shared office space with Imagination Pilots, and purchased computer equipment, software, intellectual property and other assets from Imagination Pilots. Tunes.com was purchased by EMusic.com in December, 1999.
