Current General Ledger, 1918-1919
Scope and Contents
This series consists of one volume of S.A.T.C. accounts with Northwestern University. The volume carefully and completely documents the S.A.T.C.'s brief but eventful tenure at Northwestern. The accounts cover the period October, 1918 to February, 1919. The volume is divided into four sections: Evanston-Vocational, NU Buildings, Medical, and Evanston-Collegiate.
The first section contains the accounts relating to vocational students being trained as sheet metal workers, wood workers, and radio operators. The second and third sections include records pertaining to the S.A.T.C. on the Chicago campus, and the fourth section details the accounts of the undergraduate training on the Evanston campus. Included in the fourth section are records pertaining to naval officers housed in Garrett Theological Seminary dormitories.
