Scope and Contents
The Chuck Logan Papers include newspaper articles spanning several decades, featuring Logan and the success of the Northwestern football team. Also included are clippings from Northwestern publications, such as the Daily Northwestern and the Wildcat News. The majority of the articles are from the time of Logan’s college football career, which spanned 1961 to 1964. A playbook from Logan’s 1963 football season at Northwestern, an issue of Sports Illustrated with Logan on the cover page, and ticket stubs from Northwestern games can also be found in the collection.

Abstract
Charles Russell "Chuck" Logan (born April 10, 1943; B.S. in business administration, Northwestern University, 1964) played in the National Football League for the Chicago Bears, Pittsburgh Steelers and the St. Louis Cardinals (four seasons) and Minnesota Vikings. His papers contain newspaper articles spanning several decades (but chiefly 1961-1964), highlighting Logan and the success of the Northwestern University football team. Also included are clippings from Northwestern publications, such as the Daily Northwestern and the Wildcat News. A playbook from Logan’s 1963 football season at Northwestern, an issue of Sports Illustrated with Logan on the cover, and ticket stubs from Northwestern games are also present in the collection.
