Jack Cvercko (1941- ) Papers
Scope and Contents
The Jack Cvercko Papers fill two boxes, with the majority of the collection relating to Cvercko’s years and accomplishments as a football player at Northwestern, and the 1962 and 1963 seasons in particular.
Material in box 1 includes Cvercko’s awards for the All-American Football team, trading cards of his older brother Andy, and a piece of correspondence. It also contains newspaper clippings, whole newspapers, and 3 magazines: Sports Illustrated, Inside Football, and True’s Football Yearbook, as well as pages torn from these and other magazines. Lastly, it contains 5 football programs and one of Cvercko’s scrapbooks (disbound).
Box 2 contains oversize material, and contains Cvercko’s second scrapbook (disbound), one certificate and one photograph.
