J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management Student and Class Profiles

This series fills nine and one-half boxes and spans the years from 1968 to 1982. Arranged in the first eight boxes of the series are computer printouts profiling members of the KGSM graduating classes from the period 1972-1982. The printouts include lists of class members along with the following categories of information for each individual student: date of entry into KGSM (month and year), home state, year of birth, marital status, college degrees held, undergraduate school, year undergraduate degree received, undergraduate major, final undergraduate grade point average, grade point average for the last two years of undergraduate study, standardized test scores, military experience, business experience, and KGSM class rank. Also included are printouts which collectively profile school classes according to the above-listed categories. Many categories of data, home state and undergraduate school for example, are expressed through numerical codes.

Printouts are arranged into folders first chronologically according to students' class year, then month of graduation (June or August) and, finally, by length of program of study (four or six quarters). A few quarterly class profiles and annual class rankings may be found foldered among the profiles.

The final two boxes of the series include records gathered on the School's black students and student applicants during the period 1968-1974. A few folders of these records, also computer printouts, are formatted and contain basically the same categories of information as described above. The bulk of the records are comprised of annual statistical profiles of black student applicants.
