The records of the Doctoral Office of Northwestern Unviersity's Kellogg Graduate School of Management fill two boxes and span the years 1957-1985, with the bulk of the material from 1970-1979. The records are organized into two categories: Doctoral Office records and Reports.
The Doctoral Office records, spanning the years 1957-1985, are arranged in folders chronologically by date. Folders typically consist of correspondence, meeting minutes, rosters of students enrolled in the program, Ph.D. recipient lists, and statistical information on the students and the department.
Reports, statistical in nature, are arranged in folders alphabetically by title and span the years 1974-1982. The reports were generally compiled by administrators of the doctoral program, with the exception of Survey on Doctoral Program of J. L. Kellogg School of Management, a marketing research class paper prepared by three students.

These records were transferred to the University Archives by Lucy Vandenburgh of the Kellogg Graduate School of Management on October 16, 1995 as Accession # 95-180.

Approximately .33 cubic feet of duplicate material was discarded.
