Abstract
The Northwestern University Midshipmen’s School Association, headed by Bob Wilch and his wife, Sandra, maintained records, produced newsletters, and arranged reunions for veterans of the Midshipmen's Training School which ran at Northwestern during World War II. Records of the Midshipmen's School Association date from 1940-2009, and include clippings, rosters, directories, and reunion information; books and memoirs; and artifacts. This collections adds to the resources in the Archives relating to military (especially naval) training programs at the University.

Arrangement
The Records of the U.S.N.R Midshipmen’s School fill 5 boxes, and are divided into three categories: General Files, Books and Memoirs, and Artifacts.
The General Files contain various press clippings, directories from different graduating classes and correspondence regarding NUMSA reunions.
A collection of Books and Memoirs convey the experience of midshipmen and, sometimes more generally, the life of a U.S. naval officer overseas for the war. The collection includes several autobiographical accounts of their WWII experiences written by former Northwestern midshipmen.
Artifacts include a scrapbook, posters reflecting the experiences of the midshipmen, and two flags representing the navy.
