Scope and Contents
The Administrative Records of the Technological Institute, 1910-1955, fill two boxes. The bulk of the records date from the 1940s and consist of student enrollment and registration statistics and lists. These lists were compiled in several different formats, and are variously categorized as “Bulletin Lists” (preapred for publication in the University Bulletin), “Classified Student Lists,” “Scholastic Records,” and “Statistics.” Records typically include such basic information as department/school, class level, student names (arranged alphabetically), and student addresses. Statistical summaries deal with student demographics and academic progress. The number of veterans and the number of “girls” enrolled each Quarter are statistics of particular interest.

Method of Acquisition
The Administrative Records of the Technological Institute were transferred to the Northwestern University Archives on September 5, 1997 as Accession #97-151 by Stephen Carr, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Engineering, Technological Institute.
Separated Materials
Six linear inches of duplicate materials were discarded. For earlier separations, see the accession card.
