Scope and Contents
These surveys, by the management consultant firm of Booz-Allen & Hamilton, Inc., were commissioned by J. Roscoe Miller, shortly before his retirement from the office of President if Northwestern University in 1969. The surveys provided an evaluation of the Northwestern University administration and were the occasion for the implementation of several recommendations for reorganization, which included the establishment of the offices of Chancellor, Provost, and Vice President for Medical Affairs.
