The series consists of 35-mm color negatives made by Northwestern University student photographers, from approximately 1993 to 1996. At least some of the student photographers whose work is included here were affiliated with the Northwestern annual, Syllabus. These negatives may have been made on assignment for the Syllabus.

Photographers represented are:
  • Megan P[rice]: thirty-three photographs taken at a Northwestern football game. The images show cheerleaders and members of the marching band
  • J[ason] Chin: thirty-six photographs of Northwestern buildings and campus views
  • Tom Lin: ninety-seven photographs of students[?] on campus
  • Jenny Vogt: twenty-eight images of field hockey and campus views
  • Roy Hanaki: ten photographs of Deering Library, Rebecca Crown Center, Lutkin Hall and campus views
