School of Speech National High School Institute Faculty Administrative and Personnel Records

This series, filling four boxes and spanning the period 1973-1984, includes the faculty administrative and personnel records of the School of Speech's National High School Institute. The records are divided into four subseries: general administrative records, divisional records, faculty meetings, and receptions.

The general administrative records include faculty recruitment materials, applications and contracts for faculty positions, a few administrative subject files, and related documentation for each of the Institute's programmatic divisions. Salary notices and payroll information for the years 1973 and 1979 also are included.

Divisional records, pertaining to NHSI programs in communicative sciences and disorders, forensics, radio-television-film, and theatre arts, include applications for faculty positions, contracts, and recruitment materials for each particular program.

Faculty meetings materials consist of minutes and correspondence from the period 1975-1977.

The receptions files are comprised mainly of bills and receipts pertaining to faculty receptions for the years 1976 and 1978 through 1980.

The fourth box is comprised of materials added as an addition.
