Scope and Contents

These records fill two boxes and date between 1955 and 1986. Grade distribution reports record both the numbers and percentages of students awarded letter grades in each course offered on Northwestern University's Evanston Campus. The reports are in tabular format and are arranged sequentially first according to numerical codes for school and department and then by course number and section. Number and percentage totals for departments follow each department's tables; the same is true for schools. The reports are issued quarterly, although not all quarters within the time span are represented, and are foldered in chronological order.
