Scope and Contents

The Blanche Grigson Croxton Papers comprise one half-size box containing one scrapbook. The scrapbook consists of thirty - six “boards,” mounted on both sides of which is Mrs. Croxton's history of her class, the class of 1906. The first eight entries are copies of the Class Day exercises, the class oration, the class poem, a class history and predictions, the class prophecy and partial Junior oration. Both sides of the remaining boards have a number of photographs of Northwestern buildings on the Evanston and Chicago campuses as well as photographs of friends and fellow classmates.

Method of Acquisition

The Blanche Grigson Croxton Scrapbook was donated to the University Archives during December, 1965, by Mrs. Meribah Clark of Mt. Sterling, Illinois (Accession #80-177).
