The first seven folders contain small amounts of correspondence, notes and records related to departments of the School of Business.

The next five folders contain correspondence and reports involved with Anderson's work on program and curriculum restructuring.

The remainder of the Records are related to the Ford Foundation grant. Major subdivisions here include budget, correspondence, and progress reports These consist primarily of correspondence, notes and reports.

Abstract

Correspondence, notes and records related to departments of Northwestern University's School of Business during the tenure of Ira D. Anderson; University program and curriculum restructuring; and a grant proposal to the Ford Foundation. The materials cover the years 1852 to 1963

Arrangement

The first seven folders in Box 1 concern departments of the School of Business. The next five folders (Box 1, folders 8-12) are related to Anderson's work on program and curriculum restructuring. The remainder of the Records are related to the Ford Foundation grant. Major subdivisions here include budget (Box 1, folders 13-16; Box 2, folder 1); correspondence (Box 2, folders 3-7); and progress reports (Box 2, folders 10-14).

Method of Acquisition

The Records of the Associate Dean of the School of Business, 1952-1963, were separated from a donation (Accession #83-100) to the Northwestern Univerity Archives by the Kellogg Graduate School of Management on June 1, 1983.
