Scope and Contents

The scrapbook, which measures approximately 11" by 17", contains mementos from Howell's years at Northwestern and the years immediately following his graduation. Included are newspaper clippings about Howell's friends and fraternity brothers, invitations, tickets and programs from events, and photos of the marching band and football team at NU games. Also included are traffic and parking tickets from Evanston and receipts from trips to St. Louis and Ontario.

The scrapbook was placed in a sturdy cover by the Conservation Department, and should be handled with care.

The scrapbook was donated to the University Archives by James Maurice Howell on March 2, 1987, as Accession No. 87-34.
