Abstract The materials in the Alice King Garrison scrapbook date between 1924 and 1929 and document her social and academic life at Northwestern University. Included are many newspaper clippings, photographs, dance cards, printed materials, and other memorabilia.
Abstract These records, from the period 1965-1975, include academic records, student teaching records and evaluations, notes on advisor-student meetings, qualifying exams, proposals for theses, student lesson plans and bibliographies, and correspondence. Most of the students were working towards master's or doctoral degrees. Most of the material relates to students directed by Professor Barbara M. McIntyre, although some involves Professor Anne H. Thurman.
Abstract The microfiche records date between approximately 1905 and 1995 (indicating the graduating year of the student) and are arranged alphabetically by the surname of the student. Information on the microfiche includes application forms, correspondence, and grade records or transcripts. This information may duplicate Dental School student records held elsewhere in the Archives.

Abstract Karl Abt graduated in 1948 with a B.S. in Business Administration (concentration in business management/personnel). While at Northwestern, Abt was active in the NU Band, playing clarinet and bass clarinet, the Christian Youth League, and was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. The Karl Abt Papers, filling four boxes, consists of materials from the courses Abt attended. Course syllabi, class notes, tests, and a few short reading assignments are included.
Abstract Zucker took a Ph.D. in history from Northwestern in August, 1972. The topic of his doctoral dissertation was The Free Negro Question: Race Relations in Ante-Bellum Illinois, 1801-1860. Zucker's papers fill four boxes and date largely from the term of his studies at Northwestern.
