Scope and Contents From the Collection: This is an artificial collection which combines publications by and about Noyes with some of his surviving correspondence and general biographical materials. Materials date from 1842 to 1982 with most items dating from the years of Noyes's lifespan and the first decades after his death. Most of the clippings and general biographical items relate to Noyes's death and to his service to Northwestern University. A few items are genealogical in nature.
