The Teresa Dean Papers consist of scrapbook pages of Dean's columns for Town Topics and other magazines, arranged chronologically between 1899 and 1931; drafts of some of these articles; drafts and government reports for her book on the Philippines (ca. 1916); issues of Town Topics, Gossip, and The Debutante which contain articles by her; and several photographs and miscellaneous biographical newspaper clippings. Topics for her articles and columns include the Spanish-American War, the Boxer Rebellion in China, the Philippine insurrection, the Russo-Japanese war, conditions in Cuba and Mexico, U.S. presidential campaigns, the First World War, and various political and social events. There are also several photographs of Teresa Dean and some business and personal correspondence related to her trips abroad.
