The McCormick Library’s collection of materials for the Hans Christian Andersen Awards consists of the biennial informational dossiers submitted by candidates for 1992-2006, clippings, reviews, and dust jackets by some of the authors or illustrators.
The dossiers are arranged in chronological order.
Method of Acquisition
Jeffrey Garrett, Northwestern University Assistant University Librarian for Collection Management, served on the IBBY Hans Christian Andersen Awards Jury several times and arranged for the donations of the dossiers to the McCormick Library of Special Collections and the award books to the Curriculum Collection of Northwestern University Library.
